Renlong Flexible Stone Wall Panel
As a sustainable new choice for exterior wall decoration, this product is a novel eco-friendly decorative material manufactured from inorganic raw materials such as urban construction waste soil, cement residues, porcelain slag, and stone powder, through composite modification using polymer-based polymers. It combines the texture of natural materials with the flexibility of polymer-based materials, making it a popular exterior wall finishing solution for replacing natural stone.
Ingredients and Process
The raw materials for MCM Flexible Stone consist of three components: a base inorganic filler (such as waste soil, stone powder, etc.), a polymer modifier (water-soluble polymer emulsion), and functional additives (e.g., antifreeze agents, mineral pigments).
The preparation process comprises five major stages: raw material pretreatment, composite modification, photo-induced isomerization, compression molding curing, and surface treatment. The photo-induced isomerization reaction, which occurs under a controlled temperature profile, imparts excellent plasticity to the modified soil and constitutes the core of this process.
The entire production process is zero-emission and zero-pollution, with a unit energy consumption of only 20% of that required for traditional ceramics.
Core Performance
These flexible stone wall panels have a thickness of only 2–4 mm and a weight of 3–8 kg/m²; they can be bent through 180° on a 20 cm diameter cylinder without cracking. They pass weathering tests for over 2,000 hours and exhibit equivalent outdoor weather resistance that remains stable for 50 years.
Waterproofing performance: maintains no leakage under a water pressure of 0.3 MPa for 30 minutes; water absorption rate is approximately 6%; water vapor dry flux density reaches 0.95 g/(m²·h), achieving "water-repellent and breathable" properties.
Salt spray resistance: The material itself is resistant to acid, alkali, and salt corrosion; when supplemented with polymer-based synergistic protection, it remains free of bubbling or peeling after immersion in 3% hydrochloric acid or a 30 g/L potassium hydroxide solution for 800 hours, making it suitable for coastal and industrial environments.
Freeze-thaw resistance: The product withstands 100 repeated freeze-thaw cycles across the temperature range from –30°C to 10°C; it exhibits no surface powdery degradation, no cracks, and no peeling, equivalent to approximately 100 years of natural exposure.
Fire resistance performance: Due to the incorporation of a high concentration of inorganic flame-retardant components, this material achieves a Class A fire rating (non-combustible material), meeting the fire protection requirements for exterior walls of high-rise buildings. Additionally, its stain resistance rating reaches Level 4, and it features a nano-self-cleaning function.

Easy installation: weighing only one-tenth of that of stone; requires no anchoring for direct adhesive application and can conform to irregularly shaped curved surfaces.
System Safety: The flexible material's properties harmonize with the thermal insulation layer, effectively resisting cracking and detachment; its Class A fire resistance rating surpasses that of stone dry-hanging systems.
Controllable aesthetics: featuring 256 natural color shades; the mold cloning technology replicates textures such as stone and wood patterns, ensuring batch-to-batch consistency that far surpasses that of natural stone.
Cost advantage: The integrated structure reduces workload, improves construction efficiency, and lowers maintenance costs; consequently, the total life-cycle cost is significantly lower than that of natural stone.
